Reditors first flagged this domain registrar as a low-cost alternative to Namecheap, which, due to continuous price increases, no longer lives up to its name. Worse, Namecheap used to offer live chat support, but they have shut that down.
Namecheap will raise their .com domain annual price to $16.88 on Sept. 1, 2024, so we will be testing Porkbun soon. Forbes gives Porkbun a 4.7 and “Best Value for Price” rating.
